Who are we?
The idea of what would eventually become Sapphire Coaching began to develop while Grant Maynard was searching for summer internships in college and graduate school. Getting an appointment at the Career Services Office proved almost impossible, and when he finally did get an appointment, Grant was told that they couldn't help him create a resume - he had to have one before going in for help with it.
After talking to friends and coworkers, Grant realized that there was an unmet need among both university students and the general population for inexpensive, quick, and high-quality resume services. Grant began participating in career resume workshops and networking with human resources professionals to find out what they wanted to see from job applicants. From those activities, he learned how to craft resumes for maximum impact as well as the keys behind interviewing well and balancing life and work.
